“The 765LT is the most accomplished and exhilarating LT model ever from McLaren Automotive. Incredible performance and astonishing levels of driver engagement – the result of hundreds of detailed engineering actions undertaken to ensure the purest possible connection between driver and car – are the stand-out attributes of an LT developed with single-minded determination to deliver a wholly immersive driving experience to those who secure one of the 765 available to customer order.”

Powertrain

The new McLaren 765LT is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that’s capable of generating 755 horsepower alongside 590 pound-feet of torque. The mid-engine vehicle also features a rear-wheel drivetrain and a 7-speed SSG transmission that permits 15% quicker in-gear acceleration than the McLaren 720S, which in turn allows it to turn in the fastest lap times of any Super Series model.

Performance Times

When it comes to performance, all of that power enables the 765LT to put up some pretty incredible numbers. From a complete stop, the 765LT is able to get to 60 miles per hour in just 2.7 seconds, or from 0 to 124 mph in 7.2 s. The McLaren 765LT can run the quarter mile in less than 10 seconds and hit a maximum speed of 205 miles per hour. And finally, the vehicle can come to a complete stop from 124 mph in less than 361 feet or from 62 mph in 96.8 ft.
