McLaren Artura Wins: A Victorious Display in GT3 and GT4
In the GT4 class, the McLaren Artura GT4, driven by Jack Brown and Zac Meakin for Optimum Motorsport, demonstrated unbeatable skill and strategy to claim the championship title. The team’s weekend began on a high note, securing pole position with an impressive lead of 0.8 seconds. Although an incident on the opening lap briefly cost them the lead, Brown and Meakin quickly regained control, re-establishing a solid advantage over their GT4 competitors.
This lead was maintained and expanded after the mid-race pit stops, allowing the Optimum Artura GT4 to finish nearly a lap ahead of the nearest contenders, clinching the GT4 title with style. In a further testament to McLaren’s GT4 success, RaceLab’s Artura GT4, driven by Sai Sanjay and Callum Davies, also claimed a podium finish in third place, making it a double celebration for McLaren’s GT4 teams.
