We’ve talked quite a bit about the limited-edition McLaren 765LT through the last several months. Now, McLaren Automotive has released its official technical specifications & performance times, confirming numbers that up until this point were speculation at best. We wanted to give you the rundown on this information, in addition to highlighting a couple of early McLaren Special Operations versions of the vehicle.

Powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, the McLaren 765LT is indeed capable of generating 765PS and 800Nm – which translates to 755 horsepower alongside 590 pound-feet of torque. There was no change here between the early specs and the official announcement. While the 765LT hit its early target of 2.7 seconds for getting from 0-62 miles per hour, the new McLaren can get from 0-124 mph in 7 seconds flat, 0.2 s faster than was anticipated. Finally, the vehicle can run the quarter mile at 9.9 seconds, also surpassing early expectations.
In addition to this announcement, McLaren Special Operations unveiled a pair of design themes for the vehicle. The first is called Strata, which features a front-end design inspired by a city skyline. The exterior color blends Azores orange, Memphis Red and Cherry black together for a stunning and unique paint scheme. As always, this design theme is carried on throughout the vehicle to blend everything together, including Volcano Red front brake calipers, Azores Orange rear brake calipers, orange seat perforation and more.
The second theme was inspired by a three-dimensional honeycomb and blends together MSO Bespoke Tarmac Black and Tokyo Cyan exterior colors, before tossing in a host of Visual Carbon Fibre components.
