The 2020 McLaren Elva comes equipped with a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine. It’s similar to the engine that’s utilized by the other McLaren Ultimate Series models, with a flat plane crankshaft, lightweight connecting rods, a race-inspired dry sump lubrication system, and ultra-efficient air pathways. The engine, which is paired with the quick-shifting Seven-Speed Seamless-Shift Gearbox, churns out an incredible 804 horsepower 590 lb-ft of torque.

With its powerful engine and lightweight and aerodynamic design, the McLaren Elva delivers very quick acceleration. It can go from zero to 100 kph (62 mph) in less than three seconds. The all-new supercar achieves the zero to 200 kph (124 mph) sprint in just 6.7 seconds.
The 2020 McLaren Elva is specifically geared to customers who want to stand out from the crowd. While it may be hard to believe, the Elva forgoes a traditional windshield for a “windshield made of air.” This is accomplished via the Active Air Management System (AAMS), which deflects air and makes it flow over the vehicle occupants. Additional design elements of the Elva include its lightweight carbon fiber body structure, pronounced fender peaks, a low nose, and the vertically opening dihedral doors. Also, the Elva offers a high level of customization via McLaren Special Operations.
